Dubai-based Luxury Hotel Adopts Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a Payment Method

W Hotels, a popular 5-star hotel located in the widely toured city in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, now accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a payment method via Travala, a platform that allows users to book flights and hotels with cryptocurrency.

You Can Now Book W Hotels With Shiba Inu (SHIB)

Earlier today, Travala dropped a positive update for the teeming Shiba Inu community, one of the largest crypto communities in the industry regarding their native token, SHIB.

Per the Tuesday tweet, the second-largest decentralized meme token, SHIB can now be used on the Travala platform to place bookings for

any of the 350 world-class guestrooms in the Dubai-based luxury W Hotels. Notably, W Hotels is a subsidiary of Marriott Hotels, it has 65 hotels worldwide.

Travala wrote, “Hey SHIBArmy, check out the W Hotels Dubai – The Palm. Book this 5-star luxury hotel on Travala with SHIB and enjoy the private beach with views of the city skyline and the Arabian Gulf.”

It’s worth noting that the Travala platform which enables travelers to seamlessly make travel arrangements regarding flights and hotels, incorporated Shiba Inu (SHIB) into its business in December 2021. Since then, several SHIB holders have executed different bookings through Travala.

Despite not being a top performer in the crypto market in the past weeks, the adoption of Shiba Inu for payment services has been on the rise Lately, Binance, the largest blockchain ecosystem, and leading digital assets exchange, also indicated support for Shiba Inu (SHIB) by adding the token on one of its crypto payment services known as Binance Pay.
