Crypto.Com Launches Terra Classic (LUNC) Against USDT and BUSD Trading Pairs

As Terra Classic (LUNC) continues to trend in the crypto market with a high percentage price increase in recent weeks, the popular Crypto.com exchange has rolled out two new trading pairs for LUNC. Overall, there has been increased support for Terra Classic (LUNC) from several centralized and decentralized exchanges.

Per an update, Crypto.com, the cryptocurrency exchange based in Singapore, has announced the activation of USDT and BUSD trading pairs for Terra Classic (LUNC). This implies that users can now swap LUNC for any of the two top stablecoins and vice versa. Also, this development published on September 12 aims to give users more trading options as interest in the token surges.

Crypto.com announced, “New LUNC trading pairs are now available in the Crypto.com App. Trade $LUNC with $USDT and $BUSD now!”

The Crypto.com exchange is also among the platforms that supported the Terra Classic (LUNC) network upgrade, which took place at the Terra Classic block height of 9,109,990, on August 26.

It should be noted that LUNC (formerly known as LUNA) first joined the growing list of 100+ supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins on the Crypto.com App in April 2021, before the UST de-pegging Terra collapse. Due to this crash, LUNC trading was suspended on May 13 but later resumed after the Terra chain split.

Then, users could purchase LUNC at true cost with USD, EUR, GBP, and 20+ fiat currencies. Equally, users could spend LUNA at over 60 million merchants globally using the Crypto.com Visa Card.

In the same vein, a proposal to re-enable Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) on the Terra Classic chain has been filed by Max Callisto, one of the CEOs of LUNC DAO. The aim is to make the Terra blockchain interoperable with other Cosmos chains.

Likewise, Binance, the world’s largest digital assets exchange launched USDT trading pair for LUNC. Meanwhile, the exchange has made its stance known regarding the 1.2% tax burn proposal on LUNC transactions.
