Things have been reportedly going smoothly since the launch of Alonzo Purple, the first version of the public testnet, earlier this month.
Cardano Needs Lots of Exchanges Participation for Liquidity
Alonzo mainnet rollout is the final phase of the Goguen era when smart contracts functionality is deployed on Cardano, the largest proof of stake (PoS) blockchain in the industry.
To make the Alonzo upgrade a success, the readiness of crypto exchanges is very important. Currently, Cardano is canvassing the support of exchanges for the Alonzo hard fork and a number of them have started showcasing their supports.
According to the head of delivery at IOG, a lot of these cryptocurrency exchanges are needed to provide needed liquidity before the Alonzo mainnet launch.
