An XRP holder has issued a highly critical message aimed at Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, accusing the company executive of failing to represent the interests of long-term XRP holders.
XRP Army member XrpHubby used unusually strong language, reflecting the frustration he says has built up after years of holding XRP through major market and regulatory developments.
Aggrieved XRP Holder Criticizes Ripple Leadership
In his post on X, XrpHubby accused Garlinghouse of benefiting financially from Ripple while allegedly leaving XRP holders behind. The holder claimed that Ripple had used “riddles and bullshit” while building its business and accused Garlinghouse of knowing that the company would not ultimately use XRP in the way holders expected.
XrpHubby also challenged the idea that XRP’s current price reflects organic market activity. The holder wrote that the price is “NOT organic at all” and called on Garlinghouse to take action that could improve conditions for XRP holders.
God forgive me. Fuck @bgarlinghouse you fucked all of the good people that got your company where it is. You did. Like slaves you milked us with riddles and bullshit while you became a billionaire with Ripple. You knew you wouldn’t use #XRP. You’re a crook. pic.twitter.com/zEm62n0ovQ

The post also highlighted XrpHubby’s personal commitment to XRP. The holder said they continued holding through the SEC case involving Ripple and XRP and through a reported 70% decline since Donald Trump took office. XrpHubby also stated that their XRP Gemini card is “MAXED OUT,” presenting the comment as evidence of their continued involvement with the asset.
Despite the criticism, XrpHubby said the goal was not to see other XRP holders lose. The holder stated that they would congratulate everyone if XRP eventually reached the price level they hope for, including those who supported or criticized the post.
Holder Calls for Action From Garlinghouse
XrpHubby’s central complaint focused on Garlinghouse’s relationship with XRP holders. The holder said, “I just want @bgarlinghouse to be about it” and maintained that the Ripple CEO has not acted in the community’s interests.
The post ended with a call for Garlinghouse to read the criticism and reconsider his approach. XrpHubby said they hoped the Ripple CEO would be “convicted” by the message and take action for XRP holders.
XRP Holders Respond
The comments produced sharply different reactions from other members of the XRP community. My2Cents defended Garlinghouse, calling him his hero and expressing confidence that he would eventually contribute to their financial success.

Brian took a harsher view of XrpHubby’s complaint. He criticized the holder for publicly expressing frustration and said investors with larger XRP holdings maintain conviction without making similar posts.
Another commenter, XRP_87, also rejected the criticism. The commenter said they had sold XRP near a previous high and expected to sell again. XRP_87 also expressed a much lower long-term price expectation, stating that XRP would “never go past $10” rather than reaching the much higher targets often cited within the XRP community.
XrpHubby’s post therefore centered on a personal demand for greater accountability from Ripple’s leadership while reaffirming the holder’s continued commitment to XRP. The message also showed the contrasting views among XRP holders over Garlinghouse, Ripple, and the asset’s long-term prospects.
