As a report has it, in preparation for the mainnet launch of Alonzo, the Cardano’s Daedalus wallet that comes with the support for Alonzo upgrade has been released.
The new development was announced a few hours ago via the official Twitter handle of Input Output Global (IOG). According to the report, the newly released Daedalus wallet also comes with improved presentation of windows, transactions management enhancement, among others.

IOG tweeted, “OUT NOW: Daedalus mainnet 4.3.1 Daedalus 4.3.1 brings Alonzo support & includes a countdown to the Alonzo HFC upgrade. Also improved presentation of windows, enhancements to transaction management, and support for the upcoming Trezor hardware wallet firmware update.”

IOG further urged users to upgrade their Daedalus to the latest version to avoid interruption of operation once the Alonzo hard fork goes live in relatively 2 days’ time:
“To ensure uninterrupted wallet operation, be sure to upgrade Daedalus before the HFC event on Sunday, September 12th @ 21:44 UTC. For a bit of fun, we’ve also enabled a countdown. Click out the confetti icon in the top-right of the screen to see it.
“Existing users will get a prompt to update via the Daedalus newsfeed. If you are new to Daedalus remember – download it ONLY from the official site.”

Binance Announces Support for Alonzo Mainnet Launch
On 9th September, Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume announced the support for the much-awaited Alonzo Hard Fork combinator event.
According to the announcement, starting from 2021-09-12 21:44 (UTC), Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of the digital token ADA. Although in the course of the upgrade, trading of Cardano (ADA) will not be affected.
