Bridging the Gap
To make the migration process effortless, the official Shiba Inu X account has released a video guide with easy-to-follow steps. Here’s how you can transfer your BONE tokens:
– First, ensure that your BONE tokens are stored in a Web3 wallet like MetaMask.
– Visit [https://shibarium.shib.io/bridge](https://shibarium.shib.io/bridge) and connect your wallet by simply clicking the “Connect” button.
– Enter the desired amount of BONE tokens you wish to migrate and click “Transfer.”
– You’ll need to authorize the transaction through your wallet. Keep in mind that the process involves two separate transactions, which may take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
– To view your BONE tokens on Shibarium within MetaMask, add the network using chain.shibrpc.com.
While Shibarium does not currently support staking and delegation features, the bridge enhances transaction speed and reduces costs for BONE holders. This aligns with Shibarium’s goal of improving scalability and user experience within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
The Shiba Inu community, lovingly referred to as the “Shib Army,” has welcomed the bridging guide with open arms. Numerous users have successfully migrated their BONE tokens already, showcasing the community’s active involvement and unwavering enthusiasm.
Community Cheers, But Questions Linger
The successful early migration of BONE has sparked excitement in the community, as many anticipate the activation of its full potential on Shibarium. This promises not only additional utility for BONE holders but also potentially lucrative returns.
However, several key questions linger. Firstly, a clear roadmap detailing the long-term vision and development plan for Shibarium is imperative for maintaining community engagement and attracting broader adoption.
