Davinci, an admin on the Shiba Inu Discord channel, raised the alarm, urging caution against the “proliferation of false claims that deceive SHIB holders.” RagnarShib, another admin, amplified the message on X, sharing a screenshot of Davinci’s stark warning.

The problem revolves around unauthorized tokens called “TREAT” and “SHI.” The Shiba Inu team has explicitly stated that these tokens have not been officially launched yet and any attempts to purchase them are scams.

It is important to note that buying these fake tokens will not grant access to any Shiba Inu ecosystem projects like SHIB The Metaverse, Shiba Eternity, or ShibaHub, nor will it connect users to any official decentralized applications (dApps) like Shib.io.
Lucie, a member of the Shiba Inu team, reiterated the warnings, emphasizing that the real TREAT token has not been released and any current offerings are fraudulent. The community is advised to stay vigilant against impersonators and scammers who may create fake accounts, spread false information, redirect users to fraudulent websites, or attempt to steal personal information.
