Egrag Crypto: You Don’t Believe XRP Could Hit $13, But You Believe Binance Hackers Story

Crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO (@egragcrypto) has published a long-term XRP price target of $13.68, derived from a 3-week chart structure that stretches back to 2013. The chart uses a logarithmic scale and reveals a repeating cycle that has now played out twice in XRP’s history.

Tracking the Repeating Cycle

Each cycle follows the same sequence, starting with a sharp parabolic rally, a large falling wedge consolidation phase, a significant breakdown and accumulation phase, then a new breakout. The first cycle was created in 2018 and resolved in 2021 before XRP rose to $1.96.

The second formed shortly after and contributed to XRP’s explosive 500% rally from $0.50 to more than $3.  The current price action sits at the base of a third cycle, displaying the same structural characteristics that preceded both prior moves.

A long-term ascending trendline connects the lows of each cycle going back to 2014. XRP recently broke above that trendline with strong momentum. The 21 EMA and 100 EMA are both trending upward, providing support beneath current price levels.

What the Fibonacci Levels Show

EGRAG CRYPTO overlays a Fibonacci extension grid on the right side of the chart. The base sits at $0.9835. From there, the levels climb through $1.63, $1.90, $2.47, $3.67, $5.25, and $8.28 before reaching the top target of $13.6885, which corresponds to the 2.0 Fibonacci extension.

XRP currently trades at $1.2523. The chart shows a prior spike above $3 followed by a pullback to current levels. EGRAG CRYPTO sees that pullback as an opportunity. The post states: “DIPS ARE FOR BUYING, NOT FOR CRYING.”

The Hack That Backs the Point

EGRAG CRYPTO did not post the chart in isolation. The analyst used the same post to challenge market skepticism by referencing breaking news: a major hack at Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange.

The hack occurred on October 30, 2026. Binance’s initial investigation revealed that a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop was the likely entry point. Attackers used access from that machine to execute unauthorized withdrawals and steal over $6 billion in assets.

Blockchain intelligence firm TRM Labs attributed the theft to TraderTraitor, a North Korean hacking unit widely identified as a subunit of the Lazarus Group, a state-sanctioned operation known for funding North Korea’s weapons programs through cybercrime.

EGRAG CRYPTO argued that retail investors question whether XRP can reach $13 but accept a story about a state-sponsored hacking unit breaching the world’s largest exchange through a single employee’s laptop. The analyst asks: “Which one sounds more believable to you?”
