Standard Chartered’s XRP Price Targets from 2026 to 2030

Standard Chartered has released a multi-year price forecast for XRP, and the numbers have caught the attention of analysts and retail investors. The bank projects XRP will trade at $2.80 in 2026, $7 in 2027, $12.60 in 2028, $19.60 in 2029, and $28 by 2030.

Crypto analyst Xaif Crypto put those figures to his audience with a direct question: Do they believe XRP can hit these numbers, or is the 2030 target too aggressive?

The response from his followers on X suggested many think the bank is playing it safe.

Followers Call the Targets Conservative

Robert W. of Blockchain Facts was among the first to respond. “If XRP reaches real global utility and adoption before 2030, I’d argue $28 is not aggressive at all,” he wrote. “It may actually be far too low.”

Xaif Crypto agreed. “If XRP reaches real global utility and adoption, $28 by 2030 could end up looking conservative,” he replied. “The bigger question is how fast that adoption actually happens.”

MjB38 of Digital Finance kept it short, calling the targets “very conservative.” Xaif Crypto responded: “Honestly. If adoption accelerates, those targets could look low.”

Not every reply leaned bullish. User Nighthawk offered a counterpoint, writing: “I hate to say it but these low numbers are probably closer to the truth, and I would even agree with the timeline.”

The 2027 Target Draws Focus

One user, CRAZY XRP, shifted the conversation to the nearer term. “Let’s see if the 2027 target hits then will talk the rest of the targets,” he wrote. Xaif Crypto’s response was straightforward: “Fair point. Let’s hit the 2027 target.”

While the 2030 price target may sound impressive, the more important question is whether XRP can reach the smaller milestones along the way.

What Drives the Numbers

Standard Chartered’s forecast ties XRP’s price trajectory to real-world adoption. For XRP to reach $28 by 2030, the asset would need sustained institutional integration and expanded use in cross-border payments. Xaif Crypto’s post put the core variable plainly: adoption speed is the deciding factor.

XRP currently trades well below every figure on Standard Chartered’s schedule. Whether the bank’s projections prove conservative or optimistic depends on how quickly that gap closes.
