Crypto enthusiast Kenny Nguyen has a blunt message for XRP holders who complain about price performance, urging those who have lost confidence to sell their holdings and move on.
His comments have drawn mixed responses, with some users agreeing that investors should stop complaining. At the same time, others argue that their frustration reflects prolonged waiting, unrealistic expectations, and broader financial pressures.
Nguyen addressed investors who express dissatisfaction with XRP’s daily price movements, suggesting that constantly complaining about an investment may do more harm than good. However, responses to his remarks showed that some holders believe the frustration goes beyond the cryptocurrency’s market performance.
Nguyen Urges Unhappy XRP Holders to Move On
In his post on X, Nguyen directly addressed people who complain about XRP’s price daily. He questioned why investors who are unhappy with the cryptocurrency do not simply sell their holdings and move on to other investments.
“If you’re NOT HAPPY with XRP.. Why don’t you sell and moved on?” Nguyen wrote.
He compared dissatisfaction with an investment to unhappiness in a relationship, noting that people should leave situations that no longer meet their expectations. He also warned that repeatedly expressing frustration over XRP’s price could affect investors’ mental well-being.
“Bitching everyday is NOT GOOD for your mental health,” he added.
Nguyen’s message emphasized personal choice, suggesting that investors who no longer believe in XRP should reconsider their positions instead of continuing to complain about its performance.
Some Community Members Agree
Several users supported Nguyen’s position, noting that investors should reconsider their decisions if holding XRP makes them consistently unhappy.
Macro Bombastic responded, “yeah honestly if you’re that miserable just sell man,” agreeing with Nguyen’s suggestion.
However, BrainXRP took a different position, acknowledging that investors can become frustrated without abandoning their holdings.
“It’s ok to get frustrated in a relationship. I’m not selling,” BrainXRP wrote.
The response reflected a distinction between expressing dissatisfaction with XRP’s performance and losing confidence in the cryptocurrency altogether. For some holders, frustration does not necessarily mean they intend to sell.
Unrealistic Expectations and Influencer Predictions
Other responses focused on the expectations that crypto commentators create around XRP’s price. Riki.a argued that repeated predictions about imminent price increases have contributed to disappointment among investors.
The user complained that optimistic posts point to a particular date or the following week, only for the anticipated price movement to fail to materialize. Riki.a also questioned why positive news sometimes coincides with price declines.
The Tile Store similarly challenged Nguyen’s position, noting that influencers contribute to the problem by repeatedly publishing predictions that encourage investors to expect an imminent price increase.
According to the user, many holders have waited through numerous developments while continuing to encounter claims that XRP will rise shortly.
Daniel offered a more optimistic interpretation, describing XRP’s relatively low price as an opportunity for investors who want to accumulate more of the cryptocurrency.

Others Call for More Empathy Toward Investors
Not everyone agreed with Nguyen’s approach. Tara369 explained that financial frustration should be understood within the broader economic environment, pointing to difficulties finding jobs, struggling small businesses, inflation, and taxes.
Ljprospers also criticized Nguyen’s tone, saying he should show greater awareness of inexperienced XRP holders who may need more patience and understanding. The user described his post as cold and uncaring toward some audience.
The contrasting responses demonstrate that XRP holders don’t share a single view about the cryptocurrency’s performance or how investors should express their concerns. While some support Nguyen’s call for dissatisfied holders to move on, others believe frustration is understandable after prolonged waiting and repeated expectations of a price increase.
