Estimated Inflows XRP Needs to Hit $5, $10 and $20

XRP analyst Zach Rector has outlined the amount of exchange inflows he estimates XRP would need to reach $5, $10, and $20 by the end of 2026. His latest chart posted on X compares four different inflow-to-price assumptions and shows how the required capital changes under each scenario.

Rector introduced the chart with a brief statement on X, writing, “Looking at how much we need in inflows for a $5, $10, and $20 XRP. For a $100 XRP, just 10x the $10 assumptions.”

The chart measures total net centralized exchange inflows and applies 50x, 100x, 200x, and 500x assumptions to the three XRP price targets.

Rector Estimates Billions in Inflows for $10 XRP

For a $5 XRP price, Rector’s chart estimates that the market would need between $443 million and $4.4 billion in net exchange inflows, depending on the multiplier. The 500x assumption produces the lowest figure at $443 million, while the 200x, 100x, and 50x assumptions produce $1.1 billion, $2.2 billion, and $4.4 billion, respectively.

Rector’s $10 scenario requires substantially larger inflows. His chart places the requirement at $1.1 billion under the 500x assumption, $2.7 billion under the 200x assumption, $5.4 billion under the 100x assumption, and $10.7 billion under the 50x assumption.

The graphic highlights the $10 target and labels the figures as total net centralized exchange inflows needed by the end of 2026.

Higher Price Targets Increase the Required Capital

Rector also calculates the potential inflows required for XRP to reach $20. His chart shows $2.3 billion under the 500x assumption, $5.8 billion under the 200x assumption, $11.7 billion under the 100x assumption, and $23.4 billion under the 50x assumption.

He further stated that investors could reach the $100 XRP scenario by multiplying his $10 assumptions by 10. Under that calculation, the $100 target would require significantly more inflows than the figures shown for the $10 scenario.

However, the multiplier remains an assumption, not a guaranteed relationship between capital inflows and XRP’s market price. Liquidity, selling pressure, order-book depth, and the amount of XRP available at different price levels can all affect how the market responds to new capital.

Commenters Question the Multiplier

Several commenters responded to Rector’s estimates. Hanne said, “Honestly, $10 XRP would already change my life,” while LookingGlass 1776 attributed potential price limitations to what they described as manipulation and deliberate price suppression.

Kevin Walsh challenged Rector’s calculation more directly. He said the multiplier remains unproven and argued that using a 500x assumption to suggest $1.1 billion could push XRP to $10 effectively creates the multiplier needed to reach the target.

Walsh instead pointed to liquidity, sellers, and order-book depth as factors that determine actual price movement. His comment questioned whether a fixed multiplier can accurately measure the relationship between new exchange inflows and XRP’s market price.

Rector’s chart therefore presents several possible capital requirements for XRP’s higher price targets, with the final figures changing substantially depending on the multiplier applied.
