Veteran Trader Peter Brandt Just Put $5.40 XRP Price On the Table

XRP could face a significant long-term price move if veteran trader Peter Brandt’s latest chart projection plays out. Crypto influencer John Squire drew attention to Brandt’s analysis after the veteran trader identified $5.40 as an eventual target for XRP.

Squire emphasized that Brandt’s projection does not rely on the extreme price targets often associated with XRP discussions. Instead, Brandt’s chart points toward a more measured objective based on long-term technical analysis.

John Squire Focuses on Brandt’s $5.40 Target

Squire wrote on X, “PETER BRANDT JUST PUT $5.40 XRP ON THE TABLE,” before explaining the significance of the chart. He said Brandt’s long-term XRP analysis points toward an eventual move to $5.40.

Squire also drew a clear distinction between Brandt’s projection and much higher XRP targets. He wrote, “No $100. No $1,000,” and described the $5.40 level as technical analysis from “one of the most experienced chartists in the game.”

Squire then added, “First stop: NEW ALL-TIME HIGHS,” directing attention toward XRP’s previous record price as an important level in the potential advance.

Brandt Uses a Long-Term XRP Chart

Brandt’s chart examines XRP over an extended period and uses monthly price data to identify the cryptocurrency’s broader technical structure. His analysis points to $5.40 as a destination, not an immediate price target.

Brandt also clarified that his chart does not constitute a trade recommendation. His analysis focuses on what the long-term price structure could indicate if XRP continues to follow the pattern displayed on the chart.

The projection therefore does not establish a deadline for XRP to reach $5.40. Instead, it gives XRP traders and investors a long-term technical level to monitor as XRP develops its next major price movement.

XRP Would Need a Major Advance

XRP would need a substantial increase from current levels to reach $5.40. The cryptocurrency would also need to move above its previous all-time high before reaching Brandt’s projected level.

Squire’s reference to new all-time highs therefore places Brandt’s $5.40 target within a broader progression. XRP would first need to recover its previous record before continuing toward the level identified on Brandt’s chart.

The projection also stands apart from the $100 and $1,000 targets that frequently appear in XRP-related market commentary.
