The latest XRP ownership map posted by crypto enthusiast XRP Update on X offers a detailed look at how major labeled accounts hold XRP. Ripple-linked accounts currently lead the chart with 39.86% of the supply, while Upbit and Coinbase follow with 6.41% and 5.81%, respectively.
The accompanying chart tracks XRP ownership across labeled accounts, other wallets in the rich list, and addresses outside the top 10,000. It uses the 100 billion XRP maximum supply as its reference.
Ripple accounts lead the breakdown with 31 accounts controlling 39.86%. Upbit follows with 13 accounts holding 6.41%, while Coinbase accounts for 5.81% through 349 wallets.

Exchanges Hold Significant XRP Shares
The ownership map also shows several other major exchanges among the largest labeled holders.
Binance accounts for 2.75% through 147 accounts. Chris Larsen appears with seven accounts holding 2.53%, while Bithumb accounts for 1.84% across three accounts. Another single address, identified as “rJ9Ey7…gaUdt7,” accounts for 1.80%.
The chart also lists seven accounts associated with “ahbritto,” which represent 1.30% of the supply. Uphold accounts hold 0.97% through four wallets, while Bitbank accounts represent 0.57% across two wallets.
Together, these figures show that several exchanges and prominent XRP-linked accounts, alongside Ripple, hold substantial portions of the supply.
Thousands Of Other Accounts Hold XRP
The ownership data also shows a large share of XRP across accounts outside the major named entities. The chart attributes 25.85% to “Others in the rich list,” which covers 9,436 accounts. The wallets outside the top 10,000 account for another 10.30%.

X Finance Bull responded to XRP Update’s post by focusing on the importance of supply distribution. The commenter wrote, “This is why supply distribution matters more than people think,” and contrasted concentrated holdings with XRP spread across exchanges and thousands of wallets.
CryptoKitty also focused on Upbit’s position in the chart. Referring to the exchange’s 6.41% share, the commenter wrote, “Koreans really LOVE $XRP. The XRP Army in Korea is strong.”
