Ripple has spent more than a decade building the regulatory infrastructure that institutions require. BankXRP (@BankXRP) shared remarks from Ripple President Monica Long that speak directly to that effort and to the company’s growing role in enterprise digital asset adoption.
Long described a company that has pursued licensing deliberately, accumulated more than 75 licenses across global jurisdictions, and built a compliance-first culture from the ground up. Long called it “the hard way to do it,” but said Ripple believes it is “the right way.”

Serving Institutions as a Main Character
Long called the company “a main character in especially serving the enterprise and serving institutions.” That confidence comes from the foundation Ripple has built. More than 75 licenses across multiple jurisdictions mean Ripple can operate in markets where other companies face legal barriers.
The Internet of Value vision Long referenced has guided Ripple since its founding. The idea is that value should move globally with the same speed and accessibility as information. Ripple has built its products around that goal, solving the problem with XRP. Long’s remarks show the company believes it now has the scale and the regulatory standing to deliver that vision to institutional clients.
XRP Army Fires Back
Reactions to Long’s remarks were mixed. One community member pushed back on Ripple’s institutional narrative, dismissing the company’s decade-long messaging as repeated promises with little retail payoff. Another was skeptical of the licensing push, calling it “75 useless licenses.”
One commenter called Long a fraud, reminding the community that XRP was still below $1 despite licenses and partnerships. Another critic described the overall communication as empty and full of false optimism, stating that he was done with it.
Optimism From the Community
On the bullish side, one commenter framed the 75+ licenses across custody, payments, and exchange rails as a genuine competitive moat, questioning which part of the lifecycle competitors would find hardest to replicate. Another noted that at roughly $1, XRP’s risk-reward profile compares favorably to other digital assets.

Built for Institutions and Built to Last
Long claimed Ripple can deliver the entire digital asset lifecycle, covering custody, compliance, payments, and settlement, under one roof. Ripple solves that problem for institutions by consolidating what would otherwise require multiple vendors, reducing both cost and risk. It is a meaningful differentiator for partners seeking legal certainty, operational reliability, and a proven track record.
Long also emphasized longevity. During Ripple’s 13 years of operation, it has deepened institutional relationships and reinforced its status as a partner that isn’t going anywhere. That statement is notable in a space where companies have failed, restructured, or exited markets under regulatory pressure.
