XRP 40-Day RSI – The Macro Reclaim Zone. Here’s What to Expect

XRP’s recent price action continues to keep traders focused on technical indicators that could determine the next major market direction.

Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has published a new analysis on X that centers on XRP’s 40-day Relative Strength Index (RSI), identifying several important levels that could indicate whether the digital asset is beginning to recover from its recent weakness or remains under bearish pressure.

The accompanying chart outlines XRP’s historical RSI behavior over multiple market cycles, with the analyst emphasizing that the current reading sits around 42.7.

While this marks an improvement from lower levels, he explained that the indicator has not yet completed what he considers the first major confirmation needed for a stronger bullish outlook.

Reclaiming 44 Remains the Immediate Objective

According to Egrag Crypto, the RSI must reclaim the macro support region near 44 before a meaningful trend reversal can be confirmed. He explained that this level previously served as a major cycle support during earlier market phases. Since the RSI fell below it, the former support has now become resistance.

The analyst stated that a confirmed candle close above approximately 44.11 would indicate that the recent breakdown is beginning to repair itself. Such a move would also suggest that bearish momentum is weakening and that XRP is gradually returning to its historical macro structure. In his view, this could also create conditions for a higher RSI high to begin forming.

The chart attached to the analysis visually highlights this reclaim zone, showing the RSI positioned just below the key threshold while identifying additional resistance levels above it.

Stronger Confirmation Comes Above 47

While reclaiming 44 represents the first important milestone, Egrag Crypto explained that the strongest technical confirmation would require a more complete sequence. He outlined a path in which the RSI first breaks above 44, advances to 47, successfully retests 44 as support, and then continues higher.

He noted that maintaining a sustained move above 47 would significantly strengthen the case that XRP’s RSI has shifted from a bottoming phase into a broader expansion phase. The chart labels both the 44 and 47 levels as important checkpoints before stronger bullish momentum can develop.

Beyond those levels, the analyst identified 50 as the point where momentum would return to fully bullish territory. He also highlighted 52.85 as a level representing strong macro bullish confirmation.

Higher RSI Targets Remain Longer-Term Outlook

The chart also includes an 80 RSI target, which Egrag Crypto described as a major cycle-expansion zone rather than an immediate objective. A large upward arrow on the chart illustrates this longer-term possibility, while emphasizing that XRP must first overcome the nearer resistance levels before any larger expansion can be considered.

Overall, the analysis presents 44 as the first major reclaim signal for XRP’s macro RSI structure. Egrag Crypto concluded that a move above 47 followed by a successful retest of 44 as support would provide the clearest indication that the long-term technical structure is turning bullish.
