XRP has spent an extended period building a crucial structure on its long-term chart. The current price action is now testing that structure. Crypto analyst Javon Marks (@JavonTM1) has published a detailed technical outlook on XRP, pointing to a developing setup that mirrors a pattern the asset has produced before.
A Repeating Pattern Across Market Cycles
Marks’ chart spans XRP’s full price history on a logarithmic scale, from 2013 through a projected timeline extending to 2036. The chart identifies two major triangle formations. The first appeared between roughly 2014 and 2017. That pattern produced a false breakdown before reversing sharply upside.
The second formation runs from approximately 2018 through 2024. It follows nearly identical structural behavior, including a false breakdown at the lower boundary. Following this move, XRP rose by over 500%. Marks uses this repetition as the basis for his current projection.

The False Breakdown Setup
Both patterns on the chart carry a False Breakdown label at their respective lows. In the first cycle, the price broke below the triangle’s support level, reversed quickly, and launched a significant rally. The current cycle shows the same sequence.
XRP has traded within a falling wedge since July 2025, when it reached an all-time high of $3.65. The decline in June took the asset close to the wedge’s bottom, marking the bottom. Now that XRP’s bottom is in, experts like Marks are watching for the next move.
The $15 Target and Measured Move
Marks writes that XRP “continues to near another breaking point.” His post states the asset is set up for a next leg up with a push toward measured movement targets at $15 and above.

The $15 level appears as a horizontal resistance line on the chart, positioned well above the current price. The green trajectory drawn on the chart arcs upward from the current consolidation area toward that target, following a path consistent with the prior cycle’s post-breakout behavior.
Where XRP Stands Now
XRP is currently trading around $1.09. The price is within the highlighted consolidation zone. The structure requires a sustained move above current resistance to confirm the setup.
Marks’ analysis rests on pattern repetition across two full market cycles. The structural similarities between the two periods are clear. If the pattern holds, the measured move target of $15 could become reality.
