Ethereum whales’ interest in the trending meme token, Shiba Inu (SHIB), has shown no sign of dwindling as ETH bag holders continue to accumulate the popular dog-themed token on a daily basis.
As recently reported by WhaleStats, the tracker of the top 5000 Ethereum whales, the 5th largest ETH whale recently accumulated 50.2 billion SHIB worth $1.2 million. Data also shows that the biggest 1000 Ethereum whales now hold $1.5 billion worth of SHIB tokens.

According to WhaleStats, an Ethereum bag holder known as “BlueWhale007” accumulated 50,296,290,794 SHIB worth $1,269,981 at the time of purchase in a single transaction.
WhaleStats tweeted, “ETH whale “BlueWhale0073” just bought 50,296,290,794 SHIB ($1,269,981 USD). Ranked #5 on WhaleStats.”
A closer look into the whale’s wallet shows that he has been expressly accruing SHIB since 13th April 2022. The record shows that the whale now has a total of 1.40 trillion SHIB, worth $36,932,864 via five transactions.
The whale’s massive accumulation since the 13th of April can simply be attributed to the inclusion of Shiba Inu (SHIB) on the popular investing app Robinhood.

As shared by the blockchain analytics firm, Shiba Inu (SHIB) is the biggest coin held by the top 1000 ETH whales. Collectively, the whales in this category currently hold $1,503,544,804 worth of SHIB tokens. As always, FTX token occupies the second position.
