VeChain Launches VeWorld Mobile Wallet with Great Features To Enhance User Experience

In the fast-paced cryptocurrency world, innovation never sleeps. Now, the dedicated development efforts of the VeChain Technology Center in Ireland have given the crypto industry VeWorld, the ultimate self-custody wallet.

VeWorld’s release was announced in a post on X, and it promises to be a game-changer for the VeChainThor blockchain. It offers a feature-rich, secure, and user-friendly mobile wallet to empower crypto enthusiasts and developers.

VeChain (VET) was in the news recently after a surge in price following its listing on Coinbase. Now, it has once again made fresh headlines with VeWorld.

Key Features of VeWorld

Decentralized Security: VeWorld puts users in control of their crypto assets. It generates private keys locally on the user’s device, ensuring self-custody without relying on intermediaries.

Seamless Asset Import: VeWorld drastically simplifies the process of importing digital assets. Users can use mnemonic phrases or Ledger hardware wallets with VeWorld’s simple and intuitive import process.

WalletConnect Integration: VeWorld integrates WalletConnect and promotes a seamless and interoperable environment for Decentralized Applications (DApps) and developers. This WalletConnect integration is the first for VeChain wallets.

Regular Upgrades: VeChain has also promised regular upgrades to VeWorld. These will introduce new features and quality-of-life improvements.

Community Engagement: VeWorld also has a dedicated wallet team that will actively work on suggestions from the community. Community members can provide suggestions through the official Discord server. The goal is to improve the VeWorld user experience and make it the best in the industry.

More Features

In the launch version, VeWorld will offer all the features of a regular crypto wallet. Users can send, receive, and manage their VIP-180 tokens, the VeChain native token standard. They can also customize the unit of currency displayed in conversions. This feature will be available in U.S. dollars and Euros.

VeWorld goes a step further by introducing the ability to add custom token contracts, allowing users to explore creative possibilities. Custom fungible tokens from VORJ (VeChain’s Web3 as a service platform) can be viewed in VeWorld. VeWorld also allows fee delegation, giving users control over gas payments.

VeWorld doesn’t stop at basics. It includes a native NFT viewer, allowing users to view collections directly in the app. Now that VORJ is integrated with the World of V marketplace, users can mint, list, and view their NFTs for free.

The team is working on more exciting features. These include a Vechain Dapp store integration, integration with decentralized exchange (DEX) functionalities, asset bridging support, and others.
