This newly launched feature represents the connection between the microblogging platform and the crypto ecosystem.
A couple of weeks ago, Twitter granted users of its subscription service, Blue, the ability to verify non-fungible token (NFT) profile pictures. This is also termed as a boost for the continued adoption of cryptocurrency.
What is Twitter’s Tips?
Tips is a feature introduced by Twitter, which lets users add links to select third-party payment services to their profiles.
When users turn on Tips on their profiles, other users can support by tapping the Tips icon to send them Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) via the third-party payment services and platforms they have added.
