The post stated that XRP would be used for cross-border payments, backed by billions in escrow for liquidity.
Reacting to the claim, Amelie stated that she’s waiting patiently for the partnership to materialize, predicting that it’s just a matter of time. Her comment reflects a common belief among XRP supporters that Ripple could replace or rival traditional financial systems.
However, the post itself was not legitimate. Watcher.Guru confirmed shortly after the post was made that its X account had been compromised.

Will Ripple Partner With SWIFT?
The post may have been fabricated, but it reignited conversation around Ripple’s ambitions. A popular figure in the XRP space recently debunked the myth that Ripple plans to partner with SWIFT. Rumors of SWIFT testing XRP on its network have been circulating, but he revealed that both parties have no partnership and have historically competed against each other.
