XRP holds around $1.52 despite sustained selling across spot and perpetual markets, according to crypto analyst Xaif Crypto. New data from Binance and other centralized exchanges shows billions of dollars in cumulative selling pressure, yet XRP has avoided a comparable decline. Xaif Crypto says the imbalance could indicate that buyers are absorbing the supply entering the market.
Xaif Crypto shared a CryptoQuant chart on September 28 showing Binance perpetual CVD, estimated spot CVD across centralized exchanges and Binance open interest. He highlighted the scale of selling visible across the data.
The chart shows Binance perpetual CVD at approximately negative $1.2 billion. Estimated spot CVD across all centralized exchanges sits around negative $2.7 billion, while Binance open interest stands at approximately $276.5 million.
Xaif Crypto connected those figures with XRP’s recent price action. He noted that sellers have been hitting the market for weeks, but XRP has held around $1.52.
“Sellers have been hitting the market for weeks, yet XRP is still holding around $1.52,” he wrote. “Someone is absorbing all that supply.”

CVD Shows Persistent Selling
Cumulative Volume Delta tracks the difference between aggressive buying and selling activity. A negative CVD indicates that sellers have taken more aggressive market orders than buyers during the measured period.
The figures in Xaif Crypto’s chart therefore show considerable selling pressure. However, XRP’s price has not followed the same downward trajectory. Instead, the token has remained around the $1.50 level despite the continued negative CVD readings.
That price behavior forms the central point of Xaif Crypto’s observation. If sellers unload XRP while the price remains relatively stable, buyers may be taking the other side of those transactions and absorbing the available supply.
The chart also shows Binance open interest at approximately $276.5 million, giving traders another metric to monitor alongside the CVD readings.

Traders React to Xaif Crypto’s View
The post also drew comments from other XRP-focused accounts.
Altcoin Insider pointed to the possibility of another upward move after the market absorbs the current supply.
“Once that order filled we’ll run higher high,” the account wrote.
Lana XRP & Crypto offered a more cautious interpretation of the data. She agreed that sellers have hit the market while XRP remains near $1.50, but she stopped short of treating the setup as confirmation of an imminent move higher.
“Sellers hitting for weeks. Price still on 1.50. Absorption. Not a victory lap,” she wrote.
Xaif Crypto’s chart therefore centers on a specific market imbalance: sellers continue to generate significant negative CVD readings, while XRP continues to hold near $1.52. XRP traders will need to watch whether buyers maintain that support as selling pressure continues.
