A rumor is circulating in the XRP community, and it comes with a bold claim. Crypto commentator Time Traveler posted on X that XRP is “actually $750 per token, RIGHT NOW,” but that the true price is being suppressed.
He added that early sellers are already offloading in mass, and described the situation as “pretty illegal, but cool.” He closed by calling $750 “nothing anyway.”
Time Traveler’s Suppression Claim
Time Traveler has built a reputation for extreme XRP price targets. He previously called $25 the bare minimum for XRP in 2026, and described 2026 as “probably the year of $100+ XRP.” He has also argued that holders of 2,000 to 5,000 XRP tokens will experience generational wealth.
His new post fits within that pattern. The claim here goes further by suggesting the market price visible to retail investors does not reflect reality. Other prominent figures like Jake Claver also share the $750 XRP target. However, Time Traveler offered no data to support the suppression claim.

Skepticism and Concern in the Community
Responses from skeptics came quickly. One commenter expressed exhaustion with what he called unverifiable rumors. Another did the math on the market cap. He noted that $750 per token would push XRP’s total market value to almost $50 trillion, exceeding the entire stock market, and said that it was not going to happen.
A third said the community was worried about Time Traveler personally, as many see his posts as problematic. Another called the $750 figure “literally impossible” given the number of XRP tokens in circulation.
Support and Measured Expectations
Not everyone pushed back. One user agreed that $750 is nothing for XRP and plans to keep holding XRP. One user said he was wishing for $7.50, and another commenter said he’d be happy with $4 as it would be enough for him to retire.
One community member referenced a price glitch on Gemini earlier that day showing XRP at $7.38, stopping short of endorsing the $750 claim.

What to Expect
XRP currently trades near $1.40. Mainstream analyst forecasts place the token between $5 and $25 under favorable conditions by the end of this decade, with some of the bolder analysts predicting $1,000.
Time Traveler has previously set a $73,000 target for the asset. He has also pointed to 2050 as the true horizon for understanding XRP’s role in global finance, and encouraged holders to evaluate present trends to see where the asset is headed.
