While some call it a memecoin with no significant use cases, those who understand market timing are taking advantage of Shiba Inu (SHIB) to create lifetime riches. Among those who have made millions of dollars within months of investing in the token are Rob, a 37-year-old former Supermarket personnel, and a certain anonymous investor.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Investor’s $500,000 Cashout

Rob’s story makes a typical example of from grass to grace and this was made possible via a few thousand dollars invested in the Shiba Inu token. Back in 2021, the one-time Supermarket warehouse manager based in northern England stumbled on Shiba Inu’s whitepaper while exploring crypto trading. 

Developing interest in Shiba Inu , Rob decided to bet on the crypto asset, and using the dollar-cost averaging (DCA) approach, he invested a total of $8,000 in SHIB around Q1 of 2021.

Four months later, precisely in May, SHIB’s price had skyrocketed remarkably, surging by 1200 times from its value in February — when Rob started accumulating the crypto asset. As a smart guy, Rob began to take profits in portions. 

To take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the former Supermarket warehouse manager took out his first profit from his SHIB investment which was equivalent to $500,000 at the time of the transaction. 

“I come from quite a poor background. I could never have even fantasized about having this much money,” Rob told Fortune. The report said that Rob cried a lot after he took out the $500K profit, adding that he checked his bank account at hourly intervals on the first day to make sure that the money was intact in his bank account. “But it wasn’t gone. It wasn’t a dream,” he said.

This development compelled him to leave his highly stressful managerial position at the Supermarket to become a stay-at-home father and perhaps, a full-time crypto investor. Notably, Rob also invested in other crypto assets including LEASH,  a thriving project in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.  As SHIB’s price and other of his holdings continued to moon in the later part of that year, the worth of the ex-manager’s crypto portfolio exceeded $1 million.

Anonymous Shiba Inu Enthusiast makes over $5 billion from SHIB Trades

In August 2020, an anonymous crypto investor bought $8,000 worth of SHIB and held the tokens for over 200 days. On-chain data shows that the trader’s SHIB investment later grew to over $5,000,000,000 when SHIB was changing hands at $0.00007941.

As earlier published, investors can still bet on SHIB to make millions of dollars, should the crypto asset reach the $0.001 price point in the future.
