Phil Kwok, co-founder of blockchain education platform EasyA, posted a photo that captured the XRP community’s attention. The image shows a sign reading “Ripple Effect” standing outside the White House. “This is right next to the white house,” Kwok wrote. “The ripple effect.”
The sign belongs to Art Ave, a public art initiative. It has no connection to Ripple the company or XRP the asset. This did not dull Kwok’s enthusiasm.

The Community Responds
The post drew a quick reaction from the XRP community. One commenter wrote, “Synchronicity at its finest.” Caroline D. Pham, CEO of MoonPay and former CFTC Chairman, also replied, suggesting she is watching Ripple and XRP.
Austin Glavin added, “There will be clues.” Truth Seeker called it a “Larger, ever shifting whole.” Loribee wrote, “I read you loud and clear. I’m locked in.”
Not everyone attached a meaning to the image. Cazador explained that the image and Ripple are “two totally unrelated things.” Another commenter added, “Nothing new. Good news but price is dropping.” The range of reactions shows a community that is watching closely. The coincidence of location gave an otherwise ordinary public art sign an audience it would not normally have.
Ripple’s Position in Washington
The timing gives the community reason to pay attention. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has met with President Trump on multiple occasions. Before the inauguration, Garlinghouse and Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Ripple donated $5 million worth of XRP to Trump’s presidential inaugural fund.
On August 19, Garlinghouse sat in the Roosevelt Room at the White House as Trump delivered remarks alongside crypto executives from Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Robinhood, Chainlink, A16z, and others. Ripple also expanded its Washington, D.C. office in 2026 to strengthen its engagement with policymakers on digital asset regulation.

What Comes Next?
Ripple’s presence in Washington comes as the crypto industry absorbs a legislative setback. The CLARITY Act failed its Senate cloture vote on September 15, falling 49-50. No Democrat voted to advance the bill, and four Republicans voted against it.
Despite the setback, this post shows the XRP community is still watching for bullish signs and is confident in the asset and Ripple’s position. The legislative path may be more difficult, but Ripple’s engagement with the administration continues regardless.
