XRP has moved above important daily moving averages, but crypto analyst ChartNerd believes the latest recovery still needs stronger confirmation before the market can consider the larger downtrend broken.

Open Interest Rises as XRP Price Falls

ChartNerd’s analysis on X focuses on XRP’s recent open interest and price movements. The attached chart shows XRP’s price declining from August 13 to August 16, while open interest moved higher. XRP fell from around $1.01 to below $1, reaching approximately $0.992 on the chart, while open interest climbed from roughly $848 million to about $879 million.
