His comments referenced chart analysis from prominent analyst Javon Marks, whose technical analysis points to an even higher target of $17. Together, their outlooks paint a picture of an asset on the verge of a historic move.

A Rally, Then a Hard Correction

KingValeX compared the anticipated move to XRP’s prior surge from under $0.5 to near $3.66. That move happened quickly, beginning with a rapid upward move in late 2024. He expects the next rally to follow a similar pattern, with XRP climbing to $14 before a correction pulls it back to $5.

At $5 per token, accumulating 15,000 XRP would cost $75,000. For buyers who missed the sub-dollar accumulation phase, the math becomes significantly harder. “All those days of getting XRP at $0.40, $0.30 are over,” KingValeX said. He made clear that waiting for another dip to historical lows is not a viable strategy. The asset has already moved past that chapter.

The Accumulation Threshold

KingValeX set a minimum accumulation target of 50,000 tokens, with 20,000 as the absolute floor. He stated that buyers who fail to reach at least 20,000 XRP before the next rally will miss their opportunity permanently. He believes the correction to $5 will price most people out of meaningful accumulation, explaining why they need to accumulate tokens now.

His position is that the correction, while lower than the $14 peak, still represents a price level that eliminates the advantage early buyers held for years. Whales Keep Stacking XRP

Digital Asset Investor built his video around accumulated data. Million-plus wallets steadily added XRP, even as retail sentiment soured. He described the pattern as a sign that large holders are positioning early, ahead of a price move he expects to happen fast rather than gradually.

The Case for an Overnight Revaluation

The core argument rests on tokenization. Citing analyst CharuSan, Digital Asset Investor referenced the March 17 SEC and CFTC classification of XRP as a digital commodity. He laid out a thesis in which trillions of dollars in tokenized assets eventually settle through XRP. He argued that slow, gradual price increases cannot support that volume.

He called an “instantaneous revaluation” a technical necessity before any large-scale tokenization system goes live. He said even 1% of an estimated institutional pool entering the system would push XRP into three-digit territory.

He also referenced comments from former Ripple CTO David Schwartz, who explained that utility-driven price gains eventually attract speculators, who then accelerate the move. He shared a clip of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse making a related point at MIT, noting that fixed token supply paired with rising institutional demand creates predictable upward pressure.

Ripple’s Business Outside XRP

Digital Asset Investor also highlighted Ripple’s expanding operations. Ripple has acquired a stake in Flutterwave, valuing the African fintech firm at $3.3 billion.

Garlinghouse said Ripple expects to end 2026 with a $1 billion revenue run rate, a figure that excludes the XRP held on Ripple’s balance sheet. RLUSD has also reached a market cap of nearly $1.6 billion.

Price Levels and Regulatory Catalysts

XRP briefly touched $1.25 after a 10% rally before pulling back to $1.20, a level Digital Asset Investor called key support. He noted that XRP social sentiment hit its weakest reading since October 2025 when it experienced a flash crash. However, that level has historically preceded strong rebounds.

Regulatory catalysts remain active, too. Charles Schwab’s digital asset research head said the CLARITY Act could trigger a significant rally if it passes. Galaxy Research puts the odds of passage at 75%, with a presidential signature targeted for early August.

Standard Chartered also maintains a $27 to $28 XRP price target for 2030. For Digital Asset Investor, these factors all point toward a sudden price move rather than a slow climb.

His central claim was that the overwhelming majority of cryptocurrencies will eventually disappear, leaving only a select group with strong regulatory and institutional backing.

A Three-Step Framework for Selecting Digital Assets

In the video attached to the X post, Digital Asset Investor stated that “99% of crypto is going to die,” adding that choosing a digital asset to own should be based on “common sense” rather than speculation.

He proposed that investors first focus on digital assets that the CLARITY Act would classify as commodities. According to his explanation, this immediately narrows the field to a relatively small number of cryptocurrencies that fit within the anticipated regulatory framework.

The second step, he said, is to compare that list with digital assets that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has identified as commodities. He suggested that cross-referencing legislative treatment with regulatory recognition adds another layer of confidence by eliminating projects facing legal uncertainty.

Digital Asset Investor then noted a third filter by examining which digital assets have futures products listed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. According to him, this final comparison significantly reduces the number of viable candidates, leaving only a handful of cryptocurrencies that meet all three criteria.

Why XRP Tops His List

According to Digital Asset Investor, applying these filters leaves approximately three or four major digital assets, with XRP sitting at the top of that group. He concluded the video by calling XRP “the American crypto” and asserting that it is “the crypto to rule all crypto,” adding that history will ultimately validate that view.

His comments emphasize a preference for assets that combine regulatory clarity with institutional infrastructure instead of relying on short-term market excitement. 89 Million XRP Gone

Binance now holds 2,687,499,979 XRP. That figure represents a significant drawdown, with 89 million XRP recently removed from the exchange. When tokens leave exchanges at this rate, it typically means that holders are moving supply into self-custody or long-term storage rather than keeping it available for sale.

Exchange reserves function as a proxy for sell-side pressure. High reserves suggest more tokens sit ready to hit the market. Declining reserves suggest the opposite. XRP’s reserve on Binance has been trending lower on both the 1-month and 1-year charts Diana shared, with the current level near multi-month lows.

Price Action and Funding Rates Tell a Different Story

While supply leaves the exchange, XRP’s price sits at approximately $1.14 after a sharp downturn in early June. That price point matters due to what is happening in the derivatives market. Funding rates have turned deeply negative, which means short-sellers are currently paying to maintain their positions.

Diana stated that the crowd is “betting on lower prices.” This trend has also extended to large investors, as a whale recently opened a $1.49 million short on XRP. This behavior creates a notable divergence.

Supply is leaving the exchange, and bearish sentiment is high. These two conditions together historically set up what analysts call a supply shock, in which available tokens cannot meet demand if buying pressure returns.

What a Supply Shock Could Mean for XRP

A supply shock occurs when demand accelerates faster than the available supply can absorb it. With fewer XRP tokens sitting on Binance, any surge in buying pressure has less inventory to work against. That imbalance can produce sharp, rapid price moves to the upside.

The deeply negative funding rates add another layer. When the majority of the market positions bearish and the price moves higher instead, short-sellers face forced liquidations. Those liquidations generate additional buy pressure, which compounds the upward move. This mechanism is sometimes called a short squeeze, and negative funding rates are one of its clearest precursors.

Diana asked if a supply shock is near. The available data suggests XRP may experience one. While it doesn’t answer that with certainty, the setup is visible.

Data analyst and financial chartist Celal Kucuker (@CelalKucuker) believes the asset remains in a strong position, stating that “XRP reaching $17 this bull run is not a crazy prediction.”

In a recent post on X, the analyst argued that XRP continues to display significant strength despite recent price consolidation. He also suggested that the asset could eventually challenge Ethereum’s position in the cryptocurrency rankings if the current trend remains intact.

Long-Term Trendline Remains Intact

The weekly XRP chart shared by Kucuker highlights a structure that stretches back to 2017. A rising red support trendline connects major lows across multiple market cycles, while a descending black resistance line capped price action for years.

The chart shows XRP breaking above that long-term resistance during its late 2024 rally. Following the breakout, the asset surged to above $3 before entering a corrective phase. Rather than showing a complete trend reversal, the chart presents the current pullback as a retest of the former resistance area.

XRP now trades just above the black resistance line, with the long-term resistance acting as a key technical foundation. Bouncing off this level and turning it to support could kickstart a massive move with a double-digit target.

A Path Toward a New High

The analyst’s chart outlines a projected recovery path from current levels. The first notable level appears near $1.30, where XRP has currently established support. This level has held through multiple downturns in 2026, and the asset must maintain it for the next rally to happen.

From there, the projection points toward a move to a new all-time high of $3.878. Intriguingly, this target is the midpoint of a long-term ascending channel that has guided XRP’s price movement since 2018. A successful push above that zone would place XRP in price discovery territory.

$17 Target Sits Within Long-Term Channel

Kucuker’s projected path places the next major advance near the upper boundary of that channel. The target shown on the chart sits around $17.53. Kucuker expressed confidence in XRP’s relative strength compared with the rest of the market.

For now, the chart places attention on whether XRP can hold its long-term support zone and resume the uptrend. If the structure continues to develop as projected, XRP could regain its position as the second-largest cryptocurrency.

Ripple deployed billions on acquisitions in 2025. In April, it acquired Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, becoming the first crypto company to own a global multi-asset prime broker. In 2025, the platform cleared $3 trillion annually for more than 300 institutional clients, and Ripple has since rebranded it as Ripple Prime.

Then came Rail in August for $200 million. Rail processed approximately 10% of the global B2B stablecoin payments market. In October, Ripple acquired GTreasury, a corporate treasury platform used by multinational companies worldwide, for $1 billion. A month later, it acquired Palisade, a London-based digital asset custodian.

Each deal expanded Ripple’s institutional reach. Each deal deepened XRP and RLUSD integration across corporate finance.

Licenses Secured Across Three Continents

The acquisitions did not operate in isolation. Over the same period, Ripple secured payment licenses in Singapore, the UAE, and the UK. It received conditional approval for a national trust bank charter in the U.S. Ripple says it now holds more than 75 regulatory licenses globally.

In early 2026, Ripple continued expanding in APAC. In March, it announced the acquisition of BC Payments Australia to obtain an Australian Financial Services License. Ripple said its APAC payments volume nearly doubled year-over-year in 2025, contributing to more than $100 billion in processed volume across over 60 markets.

SBI Holdings also signed a memorandum of understanding in August 2025 to bring RLUSD to Japan. Dubai Land Department partnered with Ripple to tokenize real estate on the XRP Ledger.

What Comes Next?

CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated in November 2025 that Ripple would “slow down the acquisition binge in 2026.” That shift in focus raises a natural question. With the infrastructure now in place, the licenses secured, and the institutional stack built, attention turns to what Ripple does with it.

Crypto Bitlord believes the quiet period is a signal. The community is watching, eagerly anticipating Ripple’s next move. If history holds, the next major announcement could be the one that moves markets.
