Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) are both sliding as the competition over Smart Contracts heats up. Investors looking for stronger growth are turning to altcoins in other sectors instead. As the top altcoin in the GambleFi sector, the Rollblock (RBLK) presale is gathering a lot of interest. Rollblock’s earliest investors are looking at 170% returns so far and another 100x growth likely by the end of 2025.
Solana’s price was one of the biggest winners of the 2024 bull cycle, but even it has fallen on hard times recently. The market for Smart Contracts users is expanding slowly, so the top platforms, like Solana, are engaged in ruthless competition for the existing market.
Solana’s price rocketed 10x higher this year as it was pegged for the second spot right under Ethereum. However, Solana has since given up more than 30% from these 2024 highs as smaller Smart Contracts platforms continue to compete on technology.
Cardano is one of the smaller tokens that was supposed to be left behind by the rise of Solana. While the Cardano price did give up more than 50% from its 2024 highs, it continued to produce technological upgrades to compete with the largest ecosystems.
However, with the Chang upgrade behind it and an underwhelming response to the proposed Leois upgrade, the Cardano price still managed a small loss of 2% this month. Cardano may continue to cut into the market for the largest Smart Contracts platforms, but Cardano’s own growth is also limited by the same slow market growth for Smart Contracts generally.
Investors who are tired of trying to pick winners in the market for Smart Contracts have found relief in the wide open horizons of the GambleFi sector. The $500 billion global gambling industry represents a new frontier for crypto to conquer.
As the top altcoin in the GambleFi sector, Rollblock is expected to take a huge share of this market from traditional online gambling sites.
Rollblock is already a successful crypto casino that is offering unlimited access to 7,000 games from anywhere in the world. Players can use twenty different crypto tokens to hit the tables right away, without all the fees and red tape seen on traditional online gambling sites. Rollblock will soon be expanding its platform with sports betting on almost every event from around the globe.
Rollblock’s most important crypto innovation is its new gambling token that is powered by open market buybacks. Rollblock uses its own revenue to buy these tokens that are then either burned to drive value or awarded for staking with the platform.
Rollblock’s innovative crypto casino is rapidly selling out of the sixth stage of its presale at $0.027. This price is set to increase 15% to $0.03 for the seventh stage.
This latest price increase will bring the total return for Rollblock’s earliest investors to 200%.
Analysts expect RBLK to double again before the end of the presale and then shoot 100x by the end of the year.
