The long-awaited Beta takeoff of the Shiba Inu scaling solution, Shibarium, closes in as updated by a top developer in the meme token community. According to him, remodeling the SHIB website is a prerequisite and most crucial action before onboarding the Layer 2 protocol.
Per a Monday disclosure, Trophias, the SHIB Defense Team Co-Lead, brought an exciting update to the teeming SHIB Army. As disclosed by him, the development team is marching towards executing the Shibarium Beta Launch, revealing that the first and most important step in this regard has been set in motion.
This action is providing an update on the official website of Shiba Inu, Shibatoken.com. Trophias wrote, “first thing is to update our main website. It was much needed and this is our first step as we march towards Shibarium’s Beta launch.” He added that “the entire website will not launch all at once. Phased rollouts will happen and we’ll try to make it as smooth as possible. We hope you like it!”

Notably, this comment from ShibaTrophias came a few minutes after the official Shiba Inu Twitter account published that the SHIB website may load blank as a special countdown has begun on the decentralized ecosystem platform.
“A special http://Shibatoken.com countdown has begun. Please allow DNS to propagate correctly, in case the website is loading blank for some users, try reloading again in a few minutes,” the tweet read.
The exact date for the Shibarium Beta launch remains to be determined. As the anticipation for the Layer 2 scaling solution heightens, a certain member asked about the date for the Shibarium Beta launch but Trophias only replied with the word “soon”.

However, Shytoshi Kusama, a leading influencer and active participant in the largest meme token community said earlier this year that Shibarium is among the projects scheduled to go live in 2022. According to MILKSHAKES, an official SHIB growth team member stated that Shibarium, designed to be a hub for decentralized applications, would possess some characteristics of the popular Ethereum scaling solution, Polygon.
