Cardenas Markets Introduces Crypto Payment Solutions

According to the Chief Operating Officer for Cardenas Markets, Prabash Coswatte, the company is pleased to offer cryptocurrency capabilities to customers through Coin Cloud’s network of Bitcoin ATMs and Digital Currency Machines.

“Through this unique offering we continue to deliver on our commitment to meeting our customers’ evolving needs, especially in today’s digital world,”  Prabash Coswatte said.

Notably, the Hispanic community is the target of recent development. This is based on the fact that people in the region prefer using crypto as a means of payment rather than a tool for investment.

Therefore, the development is strategic and welcoming as it is mutually beneficial to Hispanic customers, Cardenas Markets and Coin Cloud. Also, the partnership signals growth for tokens like Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Cardano (ADA). Expectedly, the adoption and utility of these supported digital assets could be increased.

 To note, the implementation of the stated agenda will first begin in Las Vegas. On the whole, crypto ATMs that support Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Cardano, Ethereum, and 40 other cryptos are set to be installed in 59 Cardenas grocery stores located in three states including, California, Arizona, and Nevada.

In commenting about the partnership, Chris McAlary, CEO of Coin Cloud said;

“Recognized as one of the largest grocery chains in the country serving the Hispanic community, we are delighted to deliver digital currency to their customers, which includes me as a loyal shopper of Cardenas.”
