Shiba Inu (SHIB) Now Supported By Newegg and Avalanche Bridge

Shiba Inu (SHIB), the hottest meme token in the market, continues to gain much-needed attention and support from wallets, exchanges, and notable businesses across the world, despite the fact that its price trend has been lethargic over the past weeks.

The latest business to add support for Shiba Inu (SHIB) is Newegg, an electronics and computer online store. The company announced on 9th November 2021 that it has started to accept SHIB tokens.

Newegg tweeted, “We’re now accepting SHIB. Just select BitPay as your payment when checking out using a PC.”

Newegg confirmed its interest in adding support for the SHIB token in late November. The new addition was also advertised on the world’s largest digital out-of-home billboard in Los Angeles, California.

The online retailer also added Dogecoin (DOGE) in late April, While the customers of the company have been paying with Bitcoin (BTC) all the way back in 2014, becoming a pioneer in terms of crypto acceptance.

Newegg’s director of brand marketing, Andrew Choi, says that crypto payments provide the company’s customers with greater flexibility:

“We are always looking for ways to innovate the shopping experience on Newegg.com, and something our customers want is greater flexibility and options, including the ability to pay with a wide range of cryptocurrencies.”

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Now Supported by Avalanche Bridge

Avalanche Bridge, which was introduced by Ava Labs in July, now supports Shiba Inu (SHIB). The new development was announced by Avalanche via a tweet on 8th December 2021.

Avalanche tweeted, “Avalanche Bridge (AB) is adding new tokens that can be transferred between Avalanche and Ethereum. First up, SHIB incoming! Transfer using the best bridge in crypto.”

The tool gives users the means to seamlessly move Ethereum tokens to the Avalanche mainnet. Users can also transfer wrapped versions of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) with the help of the bridge.
