According to a recent announcement, Shiba Inu (SHIB), the second-largest meme token in the market, can now be used to pay for Sling TV subscription via the payment service provider BitPay.

Sling TV is an American streaming television service. According to the report, beginning this week, holders of Shiba Inu (SHIB) and seven other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and 5 USD-pegged stablecoins (GUSD, USDC, USDP, DAI, and BUSD), will be able to select and pay for their favorite digital streaming service.

As described in the report, cryptocurrency is an increasingly popular way for consumers to make online purchases. The company’s partnership with BitPay, one of the largest global blockchain payment solutions, makes it seamless for its users to pay in their choice crypto among those earlier mentioned.
As for Sling, it provides cutting-edge solutions for digital-minded users, seeing crypto payments support as the next big thing for its advancement in the industry and to satisfy customers’ demands.
Describing how to pay for subscriptions on its platform with BitPay, the announcement reads:
“At this time, BitPay is only available to users with an existing monthly subscription. New users must pay with traditional payment methods to activate their account. After their first month using the traditional payment options, subscribers can switch to BitPay.
“Customers also need a crypto wallet with cryptocurrency uploaded to it in order to use BitPay. Sling subscribers can use the wallet found within the BitPay app or any other popular crypto wallet app, including Coinbase and Electrum.”
