Shiba Inu Lead Developer: I’m Not Playing Around, Shibarium is Near Completion

Members of the SHIB community continue to anticipate the launch of the Shiba Inu layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium. The Shibarium project, which is near completion according to the lead developer in the meme token community, promises to scale the Shiba Inu network, enhance the network’s security and make transactions more efficient.

Shibarium launch nears

Given that the development of Shibarium began over a year ago, community members may have expressed doubts about the project or complained in the community chat group about the delay in the project launch.

Accordingly, Shytoshi Kusama, a top developer in the Shiba Inu ecosystem has reiterated that the layer-2 scaling solution Shibarium would soon be launched on the main network. “Incoming. All incoming. I’m not playing around. We finish strong,” Kusama wrote, adding that he may be leaving the ShibArmy after the successful launch of all in-development projects.

The developer made this statement in the official Shiba Inu community Telegram group in response to a member who enquired about the development surrounding the LEASH token. Notably, Shibarium went live on the Beta Testnet early this year with hundreds of thousands of transactions having been executed via the network.

Jolt, a top member of the SHIB who broadcasted Kusama’s latest comment on Shibarium highlighted the rising price of the LEASH token, urging investors to look in the direction of the crypto asset.

Per the screenshot shared by Jolt, Kusama went further to assure SHIB community members that all other planned projects in the Shiba Inu ecosystem,  including LEASH and SHIB Metaverse would be rolled out, probably, in the coming months. The top influencer in the SHIB ecosystem pointed out that he is not playing out, reiterating that the launch of Shibarium is near.

However, the exact date for the mainnet launch of Shibarium remains unknown as Kusama is yet to disclose it. SHIB community members are hopeful that the layer-2 scaling solution would be rolled out this year to further boost the ecosystem and positively influence the price of the second-largest meme token. Recall that the project pledged to burn billions of SHIB tokens accrued from transaction fees per week.
