Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), has clarified his recent statement that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is greater than Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) platform and Sam Altman’s Worldcoin project.
In a post on the Shiba Inu Discord channel, Kusama said that he made the comparison with intention and that he believes that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is more decentralized and robust than either X, Worldcoin, or any other project.

“When I wrote Shib > X in my most recent tweet, I did that with intention,” Kusama said. “I mean it with all my heart that no one, on this planet, has built what we have, and for many who will attempt to copy, it would take lifetimes. This is the true power of decentralization and what Ryoshi intended.”
Kusama went on to say that the Shiba Inu ecosystem has a large and active community of users and developers, a diverse range of projects and partnerships, and a layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium, which is expected to launch in the coming days or months.
He said he believes that the Shiba Inu ecosystem has the potential to be even greater than X and Worldcoin in the future.
“We are just getting started,” he said. “The future of Shiba Inu is very bright.”
