Shytoshi Kusama, the Shiba Inu lead developer, recently sparked a wave of online discussion after posting about the controversial murals in Denver.
Housed in Denver’s International Airport (DIA), the murals have turned the airport into more than just a travel hub but a hotbed of conspiracy theories. Kusama expressed interest in learning more about the works, which have become infamous for the conspiracy theories they have inspired.
So I've heard about these weird murals in the #Denver Airport. Can anyone tell me how to find it? I have to see it for myself.

The Conspiracy-Laden Murals of Denver International Airport
Painted by Chicano artist Leo Tanguma, the murals were installed in 1995 as part of DIA’s construction. His works, titled “In Peace and Harmony with Nature” and “Children of the World Dream of Peace”, feature vivid, often disturbing imagery that has sparked endless speculation.
One mural depicts apocalyptic scenes of environmental destruction and warfare. A menacing, gas-masked soldier dominates the composition, surrounded by dead animals and grieving mothers.
In stark contrast, a later panel shows a world reborn, with diverse children celebrating peace. The second mural is rife with cryptic symbolism. Children in traditional garb surround a slain soldier while a shadowy figure lurks in a glass coffin. Some see this as a prophecy of a New World Order, while others view it as a hopeful message of overcoming war.
Certain elements within these artworks have generated many conspiracy theories. Some allege the murals promote concepts of a New World Order or depict coded messages from groups such as the Illuminati or even Nazis. Due to ongoing renovations, the “Children of the World Dream of Peace” mural is currently not publicly displayed.

Kusama’s Tweet and Shiba Inu Community Reactions
Kusama’s tweet about the murals ignited speculation and reactions within the Shiba Inu community. While some community members joined in with conspiracy theories – ranging from alien connections to the idea the murals have been intentionally hidden – others expressed confusion or sarcasm at Kusama’s interest, seeing little connection to the cryptocurrency project.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) Price Movement
Despite the online reactions, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has benefited from broader market optimism in the cryptocurrency sector. In the past 24 hours, the meme-inspired token’s price has increased by 25.58% to trade at $0.00001553.
