Shiba Inu Army, one of the hottest communities in the crypto industry at the moment, is pushing for the addition of SHIB as a Twitter tipping option.
About two days ago, Twitter announced the addition of the Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, as a tipping option for users on mobile, following the incorporation of Bitcoin in 2021.
The addition of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) tipping options gives users the ability to tip other users, especially the influencers, with BTC and ETH via lots of payments networks such as Cash App, GoFundMe, Patreon, Wealthsimple, Barter by Flutterwave, among others.
Shiba Inu Community Wants Twitter to Adopt SHIB
A Twitter account dedicated to the Shiba Inu community, MILKSHAKE, which has over 269,000 followers, has requested the addition of Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a tipping option on the popular microblogging social platform, Twitter.
In order to indicate the importance of the request and make the teeming community members start a likely campaign for incorporation of Shiba Inu (SHIB) by Twitter, the holder of the account pinned the post.

As expected, the post gained the support of the Shiba Inu community, terming such as adoption as a big deal for the fast-growing ecosystem.
As aforementioned, the request was brought about by the recent addition of Ethereum (ETH) as a tipping option on Twitter.

Additionally, Twitter has added support to several international fintech providers to expand the tipping feature to users in Nigeria, India, and Ghana.
Shiba Inu community is very enthusiastic when it comes to pushing for the adoption of its native token, SHIB. The call for Robinhood to list the cryptocurrency is still in progress. At the moment, it cannot be ascertained if Twitter would consider the request.
