Shiba Inu team has recently announced that SHIB: The Metaverse, the Shiba Inu metaverse project, has launched the first early access BID EVENT at shib.io.
The development was announced today via the Shiba Inu team’s official Twitter handle. This implies that users that have locked their LEASH or SHIBOSHI using the locking system provided a few days ago can now get access to the much-awaited event.
Shiba Inu team tweeted, “Shib Army, the wait is finally over – We are excited to announce that the first early access BID EVENT is now LIVE at shib.io Important: In order to participate in this early access event, you must have LEASH or SHIBOSHI locked and utilize the locking system.”

The BID event, which is scheduled to last for 3 days or 72 hours, is designed to provide an early access opportunity to the newly unveiled SHIB: The Metaverse.
For these days, participants will be able to bid for the plots of land of their choice. The team says, “This is a unique, and exclusive chance to reserve the very first batch of lands with priority over the rest of the users.”
The team added that “SHIB Metaverse has some incredible high-profile areas that you don’t want to miss! We encourage you to lock your $LEASH, or your Shiboshis as soon as the event starts and in order to join the interactive map!
“As a reminder all land purchases are accomplished with ETH, and you will not be able to participate on this event unless you have locked $LEASH or your Shiboshis.”

Out of the 100,585 plots of land available in the Shiba Inu metaverse, 36,431 plots are allocated for the early stage. The plots of land will later be divided into four tiers, including Diamond Teeth, Platinum Paw, Gold Tail, and Silver Fur.
0.2 ETH is the initial price of the Silver Fur, while the prices of Gold Tail, Platinum Paw, and Diamond Teeth are set at 0.3 ETH, 0.5 ETH, and 1 ETH, respectively.
Procedures for Land Purchase on SHIB: The Metaverse
After a user places a bid for a plot of land and the initial bid is not surpassed within 3 days or 72 hours, the user with the highest bid becomes the owner of the land automatically.
After 72 hours from the announcement of the BID event, any plot of land available will be rolled over to the second sale event known as Holders Event, which will start as soon as the BID Event is concluded.
