Ripple has proven once again to be a reliable cross-border payment platform despite the baggage of challenges that have hindered its expansion.
According to the latest development in the digital market space, Ripple was recently awarded the 2024 Best Cross-border Payment Platform in the FinTech awards event.
Since its inception twelve years ago, the blockchain payments firm has remained at the forefront of revolutionizing cross-border transactions, leveraging XRP utility to facilitate seamless multinational transfers.

The prestigious award, presented in the business-to-business (B2B) category, became the latest evidence of the payment outlet’s dedication to its vision of streamlining international payments for individuals and businesses.
In a tweet that has been making rounds lately, Ripple announced that it was excited to share that it won the FinTech Breakthrough Award in 2024 for the best decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure platform and the best cross-border payment firm.
Interestingly, Ripple’s recent feat came at a period clouded with uncertainties due to the pending legal dispute involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the payment outlet. The award, therefore, highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence despite ongoing challenges.
Ripple’s recent landmark is not its first. Last year, the San Francisco-based firm was awarded the PAY360 Award in the United Kingdom. This says a lot about the platform’s expansion over the years, amid several challenges.
Beyond Web3, Ripple was recognized as one of People’s Magazine’s “100 Companies Who Care For Employees And Society” and ranked 13th on Fortune Magazine’s list of “The Best Workplaces in Technology” for 2023.
