Rigged from the Start: XRP Unleashed Title Change Confirmed

Fruition Productions, the company behind the highly anticipated documentary (XRP Unleashed) covering Ripple’s prolonged legal battles with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the XRP community’s broader challenges has confirmed a change to the film’s title.

Originally titled XRP Unleashed, Fruition Productions revealed on X that the documentary will now be called Rigged from the Start: Exposing the SEC’s War on Crypto. The production company clarified that the title shift aligns with its goal of reaching a broader audience beyond the core crypto community.

According to Fruition Productions, the new title reflects a desire to highlight Ripple’s regulatory challenges and the crypto industry. The revised name, Rigged from the Start, emphasizes the alleged regulatory bias of the SEC’s actions, a topic central to the ongoing legal battle.

Exposing the SEC

The documentary focuses on the SEC’s unfair approach to crypto regulation, especially in targeting Ripple, the San Francisco-based cross-border payment firm, and the digital token XRP.

Fruition Productions hinted at this change recently, and the new title passes the message across more effectively.

The production company’s statement clarifies that except for the title, “nothing else is changing about the film,” reaffirming that the documentary will maintain its primary focus on detailing “the struggle of the XRP army and corruption of the SEC.”

By opting for the new title, the producers hope to draw the attention of a wider audience, particularly those outside of the crypto sector, to the broader implications of this landmark case.

The statement also mentioned that the title XRP Unleashed will still appear within the film’s final scenes, symbolizing the XRP community’s resilience and optimism in the face of regulatory pressure.

A New Era for the Crypto Market

Ripple has long argued that the SEC’s case against it is unprecedented and reflects an anti-crypto stance that could stifle innovation. The case has raised awareness among legislators, attorneys, and crypto advocates about the lack of regulatory clarity for other cryptocurrencies and the SEC’s failure to regulate properly.

Fruition Productions’ rebranding decision highlights this larger perspective, positioning Ripple’s legal challenges as part of a systemic issue within the U.S. regulatory framework that could have lasting impacts on the future of digital assets.

However, this documentary can also symbolize hope, as the new administration led by Donald Trump is set to dismantle the old SEC by removing current SEC Chair Gary Gensler and usher in a new era for the crypto market and crypto regulation in the U.S.
