Financial commentator Bark has made a bold prediction about XRP as the market approaches October.
In a tweet, Bark told his followers, “You don’t have enough XRP for what’s about to happen next week.” He didn’t name a specific catalyst or provide a price target, leaving his followers to interpret what he expects.
The statement comes as XRP trades near the $1.50 level and follows a recent move toward the $1.60 region. Several developments: XRP and the XRP Ledger could also give investors reasons to watch the market closely as September ends.
You don’t have enough ripple:native for what’s about to happen next week.

Bark Points to a Potentially Significant Week
Bark’s message focused entirely on what he expects next week to bring for XRP. However, he did not explain whether he expects a major price move, a market development, or another catalyst.
His followers responded with different views. Silk.Daddy.888 said he would save a screenshot of Bark’s prediction and later whether the commentator proved correct or faced criticism for the call.
RRS sounded more frustrated, saying he had lost almost seven figures on XRP and wanted the cryptocurrency to return to $3 during the current market cycle. Mamuehl took an opposing view and criticized XRP’s recent performance compared with other cryptocurrencies.
XRP Recently Tested the $1.60 Area
XRP recently moved through an important price area as traders watched the $1.55–$1.60 region. The cryptocurrency climbed from the lower $1.30 range earlier in September before reaching above $1.60.
The move also relates to a longer-term technical structure. Analysts have identified the $1.55–$1.60 area as part of a retest of a multi-year symmetric triangle that XRP began forming around 2017–2018.
Although this technical setup provides context for Bark’s post, his message does not directly connect his “next week” prediction to the chart structure.
ETF Inflows Add to XRP Market Activity
Institutional demand also remains part of the current XRP market picture. U.S. spot XRP ETFs have accumulated more than $1.75 billion in net inflows, according to the data provided for this analysis.
Bitwise and Franklin Templeton have contributed to the recent inflows, with investors continuing to place capital into regulated XRP investment products. Although the figures indicate continued demand, they do not imply a specific price move for next week.
The XRP Ledger also has upcoming protocol developments. The Batch amendment introduces functionality to process bundled transactions, while account delegation adds another development.
October Brings Several XRP-Related Developments
October also begins with Ripple’s regular escrow process. The system releases up to 1 billion XRP at the start of each month, including October 1, although Ripple can return unused amounts to escrow.

That scheduled release can create additional market supply before other developments influence trading activity. As a result, investors will watch both institutional flows and available market supply as October begins.
Ripple will also host Ripple Swell 2026 from October 27 to 29 in New York alongside XRPL Apex. The event will feature executives from traditional financial institutions and digital-asset companies.
Bark has not specified which of these developments, if any, forms the basis of his prediction. For now, his statement leaves XRP holders waiting to see what he believes will happen next week.
