XRP has reached a crucial stage in its long-term structure, highlighted by crypto pundit Cleo Schmidt (@Cleo_995yu). Her chart compares XRP’s current setup with the structure that developed before the cryptocurrency’s historic 2017 advance.
The comparison centers on an ascending support line. The chart shows a creation phase followed by three retests. The same sequence appears across two major XRP cycles, giving the current setup its significance.
Schmidt stated that “No one is ready for $XRP’s next move.” She added that the asset is “replicating its 2017 trend structure.” Her chart now places XRP at the third retest of the current ascending support.
No one is ready for $XRP's next move.$XRP is replicating its 2017 trend structure. The last time this support level held, the price surged over 60,000%.
My roadmap:
$1.10 → $0.97 → $1.80
$1.80 → $2.70 → $3.20
$3.20 → $6.50 → $13.00Once the support level is confirmed… pic.twitter.com/7m4URty828

The Repeating Structure
The first cycle began with the creation of ascending support in 2014. XRP then returned to the trendline for its first retest in 2015. A second retest followed in 2016, before the third retest arrived in 2017.
The chart then shows a sharp expansion after that third retest. This historical sequence forms the foundation of Schmidt’s current comparison. She stated that “the last time this support level held, the price surged over 60,000%.”
The Current Cycle Reaches Its Third Retest
The newer structure began with the creation of ascending support in 2019. XRP completed its first retest in 2021, followed by a second retest in 2024, a 500% surge that pushed it above $3 in early 2025. The chart identifies the latest test as the third retest in 2026.
That puts the current cycle at the same structural stage as the 2017 expansion. The projected surge has yet to occur, so Schmidt’s targets represent the next phase of her roadmap rather than completed price moves.
XRP currently trades around $1.31 after a swift recovery following the White House summit on August 19. The recent decline reached $0.9884, bringing the price below Schmidt’s initial $1.10 target before the rebound.

The Roadmap for XRP
Schmidt’s roadmap begins with $1.10, followed by $0.97. The first levels now provide key markers as XRP trades near $1.31. A move toward $1.80 would represent the first major upside objective in the roadmap. XRP would then need to reach $2.70 and $3.20 before $6.50 and the highest target at $13.
Schmidt also wrote, “Once the support level is confirmed for the third time, the expansion could accelerate.” The chart shows that the third retest is in 2026, while XRP’s recovery from $0.9884 places the market near the starting levels of her projected move.
