Positives and Negatives of XRP Price Action in the Last Few Days

XRP’s recent price action gives traders conflicting signals, with liquidity being cleared at several levels while buyers remain reluctant to support the market.

Crypto analyst Cryptoinsightuk has highlighted both the positive and negative developments, pointing to rising open interest, continued lower lows on the daily chart, and a large concentration of liquidity above the current price.

XRP Sweeps Liquidity Across Multiple Timeframes

According to Cryptoinsightuk’s X post, XRP has swept a significant amount of liquidity on both the hourly and daily timeframes over the last few days. He considers this one of the more positive aspects of the current price action because the market has already removed liquidity from several lower levels.

The analyst also noted that XRP currently has considerably more liquidity positioned above its price than below it. With XRP trading around the $1 level on the attached chart, this imbalance could become important if buyers begin returning to the market and push the price higher.

However, Cryptoinsightuk stressed that liquidity remains on both timeframes. This means the market has not necessarily completed its current process, and further movement could occur before XRP establishes a more convincing direction.

Rising Open Interest Remains a Key Concern

One of the main negative factors highlighted by the analyst is XRP’s rising open interest. The attached chart shows aggregated open interest climbing significantly in recent days, reaching more than $835 million in the data displayed.

Cryptoinsightuk acknowledged that rising open interest does not automatically represent a bearish signal. However, he believes the continued increase while traders are being liquidated indicates that additional volatility could be approaching.

The analyst also noted XRP’s daily candles continuing to establish lower lows. More importantly, he said that spot buyers have not yet provided enough buying pressure to change that trend. In his view, the lack of strong spot demand remains one of the clearest weaknesses in the current setup.

Lower Levels Targets

A commenter, hoos.crypto, said that liquidity being swept at lower levels was encouraging and asked whether Cryptoinsightuk had received any fills from his limit orders.

Cryptoinsightuk replied that none of his orders had been filled yet. He explained that he was attempting to scalp what he considers the absolute lows and accepted that he could miss the move entirely. He added that he was scaling his orders below $0.92.

His comments indicate that he is positioning for another decline rather than assuming that XRP has already established its final low.

For now, Cryptoinsightuk’s assessment remains balanced as he continues to wait for clearer evidence of a reversal.
