A new claim about ACI’s role in global payment infrastructure has put renewed focus on the relationship between SWIFT, distributed ledger technology, and the XRP Ledger.
Crypto commentator JackTheRippler described the development as “massive” after claiming that ACI, which he called one of the largest SWIFT partners, had chosen the “XRP Ledger” to handle 9% of global transactions. JackTheRippler then connected the development to a much higher XRP valuation, saying “$100 per XRP is inevitable.”
ACI’s Role in Global Payments
JackTheRippler’s tweet focused on ACI’s position within the global payments sector and its reported connection to the XRP Ledger. He presented the development as a major step for the XRP ecosystem and linked ACI’s reach across SWIFT-related payment activity to his long-term outlook for XRP.
JackTheRippler did not provide a detailed calculation showing how ACI’s payment activity could translate into XRP demand. Instead, he used the reported transaction figure to support his bullish projection for the cryptocurrency.
However, the 9% figure requires further clarification. Crypto News commentator MjB38 explained that ACI supports approximately 9% of global SWIFT traffic, but that statistic does not mean the XRP Ledger will process 9% of global transactions.
🚨THIS IS MASSIVE!
ACI, one of the LARGEST SWIFT partners, has chosen the #XFP-Ledger to handle 9% of the GLOBAL transactions. 🔥

ACI Already Supports DLT Payment Rails
MjB38 also pointed to another part of ACI’s infrastructure that adds context to the development. The commentator noted that ACI already supports distributed ledger technology payment rails, including Ripple, while it now integrates SWIFT’s ledger.
That connection gives the development significance beyond the 9% figure. ACI operates within a major global payments network, while its support for DLT-based rails connects traditional payment infrastructure with blockchain technology.
The integration could therefore provide another example of payment networks connecting different ledger technologies. However, the available information does not establish that the XRP Ledger will directly process 9% of global transactions through ACI.

JackTheRippler Maintains His $100 XRP Outlook
JackTheRippler used the development to reinforce his prediction that XRP will eventually reach $100. His post did not explain a specific valuation model or identify a direct transaction-volume calculation that would produce that price target.
The distinction around ACI’s 9% figure remains important when assessing the claim. ACI’s claim that it supports roughly 9% of Swift traffic describes its role in Swift-related payment activity. It does not establish that the XRP Ledger currently handles, or will handle, 9% of all global transactions.
For XRP observers, the more immediate development centers on ACI’s involvement with both established payment infrastructure and DLT-based rails. That interoperability provides the central point of the discussion, while JackTheRippler’s $100 XRP prediction remains his own stated outlook.
