No Manual SHIB Burns for Over 30 Days, Community Demand Answers from Dev Team

The Shiba Inu community, a vibrant and vocal group of crypto enthusiasts, is seeking answers on a month-long without the manual SHIB burns by the Shiba Inu development team.

The call for transparency is being led by Lola, a notable figure within the community. She has directly questioned Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer, about the status of SHIB burns fueled by Shibarium transaction fees.

This plea has struck a chord with many, underlining the community’s desire to see a significant reduction in the circulating supply, potentially leading to a “one sticky zero” disappearing from the token price.

The community’s frustration is being amplified by the fact that it has been over 30 days since the last manual burn of 9.35 billion SHIB tokens. This inactivity has led prominent figures like Oscar Ramos, a dedicated community member and SHIB holder, to publicly question the team’s plans. He has emphasized his commitment to the community and demanded a clear answer from the developers.

Shibarium’s SHIB Automated Burns

Despite the silence on specific burn plans, the development team has previously announced a shift from manual to automatic burns. The testing phase for this feature began in January, and the team has encouraged the community to utilize Shibarium to contribute to the burn process.

However, the lack of communication and concrete updates is causing unrest within the community. Key questions remain unanswered. When will automatic burns be fully implemented? What is the target burn rate for Shibarium? Will manual burns be discontinued entirely? What concrete steps can the community take to contribute to burns?

The Shiba Inu community’s passion and dedication are undeniable. However, the current information vacuum is breeding uncertainty and potentially hindering the token’s long-term growth. Addressing the community’s concerns with clear communication and a concrete roadmap for SHIB burns is crucial for regaining trust and fostering continued support.
