Xumm, the mobile wallet app for XRP Ledger (XRPL) just hinted at a new development that will enable crypto enthusiasts to purchase XRP using over 100 conventional payment options. Xumm made this disclosure via its official Twitter account.

How Xumm Intends To Make This Possible

Xumm will collaborate with the Poko app, a move that aims to improve the Xumm On-Ramping Experience with the application of Poko’s On-Ramp Aggregator. The collaboration will enhance effortless multiple XRP transactions together with increased access to digital assets, especially among crypto users in Asian regions.

Speaking about the partnership with Poko, Maaike van der Veen, the Chief Business Officer at XRPL Labs noted that XRPL hopes to develop a more productive and easily accessible user interface when swapping fiat currencies for cryptocurrencies and other digital assets like XRP. In addition, the integration will simplify the intricacies involved in transferring funds between the local banking systems and XRP Ledger.

With the coalition, Xumm will become a certified payment option with track-finding capabilities encompassing more than one million Ecwid stores. Also, this development will improve the availability of XRPL payment options to many online merchants via enhanced cross-border and cross-currency dealings.
