XRP is currently struggling with the $1 support level, and crypto pundit BankXRP (@BankXRP) has asked his audience an important question: Is $3 still realistic for XRP in 2026?
XRP is currently fighting to hold a support level that many holders would not have imagined just a year ago. The answer depends heavily on how the rest of 2026 unfolds.
Is $3 Still Realistic for XRP in 2026?

XRP Army Reacts
BankXRP received a wide range of responses from the community. Mason Versluis, a well-known figure in the space, stated that $3 is realistic but not likely at this stage. Another user suggested end-2026 or early 2027 as a plausible window for the $3 level.
One commenter took a far more bullish stance, calling $3 a low bar and suggesting the real target should be ten times that figure. Another said stopping at $3 would be a disaster and disappointment, suggesting that expects it to go much further. On the bearish side, one reply put a more realistic price closer to $0.30.
XRP’s Fall From Its Peak
The decline has been steep. XRP set a new all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025 and has since shed over 70% of its value. The token spent much of 2026 sliding, dropping from around $1.30 in early June to lows near $1.04. It currently struggles around the $1 mark.
That level has become the line holders watch most closely. A break below it would push XRP to its weakest position since late 2024 and raise fresh questions about the trajectory of the current cycle.
Can XRP Recover to $3?
Getting back to $3 from current levels would require a gain of roughly 185%. That is not an impossible figure. XRP surged over 500% in late 2024 alone, reclaiming $3 for the first time since 2018 in the process. But the conditions that drove that rally have not fully returned.

Regulatory uncertainty persists, with the CLARITY Act still unresolved in the U.S. Senate. Institutional demand for XRP-specific products has also weakened, with spot XRP ETFs recording outflows in recent weeks.
Still, technical analysts have kept their long-term targets intact. One analyst recently predicted that XRP could lead the bull market and set $10+ for the digital asset.
What’s Next For XRP?
The timing is the central debate. A recovery to $3 by December 2026 is technically possible but would require sustained buying pressure and a meaningful shift in market sentiment. Some analysts see end-2026 or early 2027 as a more realistic window for that target. However, the focus now is whether it can remain above $1.
