Highlights from the Ripple and XRP Victory Party

Proper Party, an event hosted by Ripple, the US-based cross-border payments firm, to celebrate the significant victory against the U.S. SEC in the ongoing XRP lawsuit, has come and gone. However, it did not go without leaving notable marks in the hearts of XRP community members as it was more than just a gathering.

It’s no longer news within the XRP community that XRP is now being treated as a digital asset since the July 13 verdict, as many exchanges rushed to relist the embattled crypto. This protracted lawsuit began in December 2020. This implies that it took almost 3 years before a notable decision was made by the judge. This was why it called for celebration.

Obviously, most members of the community anticipated big announcements that would move the price of XRP Northward. This generated speculation about the possibility of Ripple announcing a settlement with the SEC, an Initial Public Offering (IPO), or major partnerships.

However, before the start of the party, Brad Garlinghouse tweeted to clear the air regarding the widespread rumor.

Brad Garlinghouse wrote, “And as for any “announcement” that people are wondering about, tonight’s event is just a celebration…but I will share my recent addition.”
