Here’s Jake Claver’s XRP End of the Year Battle Summarized Into Percentages

Crypto analyst ChartNerd has compared two sharply different XRP year-end scenarios by calculating the percentage required for each prediction to materialize.

In a post on X, ChartNerd presented what he described as a summary of the “Jake and Scams $XRP EOY battle” in percentage terms. According to his calculation, XRP would need to fall back toward $1 by the end of the year for the scenario associated with Scams to play out. From the current level referenced in his post, that would represent a 26% decline.

ChartNerd contrasted that scenario with Jake’s outlook, which calls for a substantially higher XRP valuation by the end of the year. He calculated that XRP would need to increase by 7,420% to reach the level required for Jake’s prediction.

The comparison illustrates the significant difference between the two views on XRP’s potential performance before the end of the year. ChartNerd focused on the percentage changes required rather than endorsing either target.

ChartNerd Responds to Criticism

The post also drew a response from X user Luis De Freitas, who criticized the comparison and questioned ChartNerd’s motivation for sharing it.

De Freitas wrote that one side had promoted high XRP price expectations while the other had argued that Ripple and XRP were scams and that banks would not use the cryptocurrency. He then suggested that ChartNerd was attempting to gain attention by discussing the disagreement.

ChartNerd rejected that characterization. He explained that the cryptocurrency market benefits from people who can consider different positions without automatically taking either extreme.

“Maybe we just simply need more logical in the middle-ground thinkers then?” ChartNerd wrote in his response.

He added that if both parties could express their opinions on a platform that allows users to freely share their views and disagreements, he would keep discussing topics that attract attention in the crypto market.

SwansXRP Discusses Jake’s Thesis

Another X user, SwansXRP, offered additional context about Jake’s position. According to SwansXRP, Jake’s thesis depends on a major global financial “black swan” event.

SwansXRP argued that if such an event occurs, XRP’s resulting price movement could be significant. The user also claimed that several elements of Jake’s previous predictions have already occurred and suggested that developments under U.S. President Donald Trump could be contributing to conditions that may eventually lead toward the scenario Jake has described.

ChartNerd’s original comparison therefore centers on the unusually wide gap between the two year-end XRP scenarios. His calculations show one outcome would require a 26% decline toward $1, while the other would require a 7,420% increase, leaving investors with two fundamentally different expectations for XRP’s performance by the end of the year.
