In a recent tweet, Edward Farina, the CEO of Alpha Lions Academy, shared a screenshot of a post by an account claiming to be Nathaniel Rothschild, the 5th Baron Rothschild.

The post reads: “When the bottom is in, many exchanges are closed, or the spread is so massive that you will miss the opportunity to buy cheap XRP. They are against retail. Screenshot this.”

Adding to his tweet, Farina said “Nathaniel Rothschild tried to warn us about $XRP years ago. His original account disappeared and was replaced with a fake one to cover up his old posts.”

How True are Farina’s Claims?

The veracity of Farina’s claims cannot be independently confirmed. The social media platform X, formerly Twitter, is a breeding ground for impersonator accounts, and there is no guarantee that the account is a genuine account belonging to Nathaniel Rothschild.

However, Farina’s tweet highlights a common concern among retail investors in the cryptocurrency market, the “spread”.
