XRP often stays quiet longer than most assets. That silence has shaped its reputation. When momentum finally arrives, the asset accelerates.
That pattern has appeared more than once, and it is why a recent video from Mason Versluis has drawn interest among XRP watchers.
Versluis’ video focused on XRP’s historical performance and future potential. His comments centered on one core idea: “When XRP pumps, it pumps hard.”
When $XRP pumps, it pumps HARD. We know this. It’s done it twice already. Pay attention. pic.twitter.com/5Kiv4WxcTs

A Mature Asset With an Unusual Chart
In his video, Versluis described XRP as “a really mature asset” and pointed to what he called “one of the craziest looking charts.” His emphasis stayed on how price behaves once it breaks from long consolidation phases. According to him, XRP does not trend slowly when it moves. It “just skyrockets out of nowhere.”
That observation is in XRP’s historical record. Major advances have arrived quickly, unfolding over very short periods. Versluis stressed that this pattern has already occurred twice. He made it clear that these moves stand apart from typical market cycles seen across other large-cap assets.
He also rejected the idea that every past rally deserves equal weight. Versluis said, “I wouldn’t even count this 2021 as a skyrocket.” He argued that earlier peaks on the chart exceeded it by a wide margin. In his view, those earlier moves set the true benchmark for what a full XRP expansion looks like.
Dwarfing Previous Peaks
Versluis focused heavily on comparative scale. He referenced two historical peaks and explained that he wants XRP to surpass them. His expectation is not modest growth, but structural expansion that changes the chart’s look.
He said, “Now I want to see these two peaks dwarfed.” He followed that with confidence, adding, “I think we can do it. I think it can happen.” For Versluis, the goal is clear. On a long-term chart, past highs should shrink in relative size once the next major rally completes.

He treats XRP as an asset that moves in stages. Long compression phases do not invalidate the trend. When the price finally breaks, the speed and magnitude become the defining features.
What Comes Next for XRP?
Versluis did not offer price targets or timelines. His focus stayed on behavior already visible in XRP’s history. For XRP holders, the takeaway is patience. If the asset follows its established pattern, the next decisive move will not require extended buildup once it begins.
XRP remains one of the few large digital assets with extreme vertical moves after long periods of inactivity. Versluis believes it can do more. If history repeats at scale, previous highs will become the baseline.
