The coin is currently struggling to reclaim its previous ATH, but Mason believes this is not feasible. “I am pretty confident $SHIB will never go past all-time high again ($0.00008845),” The Gold Squad founder stated in his tweet.

Mason’s comments come hot on the heels of a massive surge in the value of SHIB tokens, which were worth just two cents at the start of 2021 but saw a meteoric rise in value to an ATH of $0.00008845 in mid-May. Since then, the token’s price has dropped sharply, and today trades at around $0.000008, a significant drop from its ATH.
Mason, the founder of Gold Squad, believes that the token’s sharp rise in value was largely due to the hype surrounding the coin.
The digital asset spiked by an unprecedented scale to an all-time high of $0.00008845 in October 2021 during the crypto bull run. The coin’s price plummeted by 71% four months later but found support around the $0.000025 area.
While reacting to his claim on Twitter, Tony JRNY, the owner of the NFT project JRNY Club, says that to hit previous highs, it “would take some groundbreaking utility and FOMO.”

Mason believes that while SHIB has the potential to continue to increase in value over time, it is unlikely that it will ever reach its ATH again. He believes that the coin is at its top value and that any further price appreciation is likely to be slow and steady.
